There are terrific movies and there is dross that wastes everybody's time.  So far, so obvious.

My theory, though, is that there is something to learn even from a bad movie.

I wanted to crystallize some of my thoughts about movies, and figured that writing reviews might be a way to do that.  So join me on a journey to rewrite critical theory, one reel at a time.
